(( ;D Also, this should take place, a day or something after The Arrival))
Johnny's gaze flicked down to the scrap of paper he had. it had to addresses on it. One looked residential and one looked like a business. Well, he was right becuase he was now standing in fron of the residential one.
He raised his hand but then dropped it as he looked down at his single bit if luggage. One suitcase. What am I doing here? Was it a mistake to agree to that guy from PHANTOM or whatever it was? But then I might be in a trial, which would go on my record, and my life would be over. of course, those thoughts didn't encourage him too much.
Finally, after a long arguement with himself, (no joke. It lasted ten seconds.), he raised his hand and knocked on the door, praying that this was the right address.

"Can I help you?" Leroy asked, walking up behind the person knocking on his apartment door. He had just gotten back from his first day of work at the Ocean World Aquarium where he worked as a ticket taker. He grabbed his keys out of his pocket and unlocked the door.
As he pushed the door open, he caught sight of the note the person had. "Ah, I think I know why you are here. Touch any boxes lately?" As soon as he said it, he realized he would probably sound crazy if his hunch was wrong. He still might anyhow if this person didn't catch the reference.

"Help me?" Johnny echoed at the person. "Um, yeah." His eyes shifted around before saying, "Yeah, I..." His voice trailed off as the person opened the door and asked about a box. Okay, that was slightly stalkerish. How was that guy supposed to know about the morphing cube? Well, not know about it, more like associate it with him. Unless.
Johnny almost slapped his head as he thought. Duh! This guy might be an Animorph! But that agent dude said something about secrecy? Better use a code. "Um, yeah, I've been around a box recently. And I also like animals. I fell that I could almost become one if I touched it." He mentally grimaced. Okay, tact and subtlety were definitely not his strong points. "Uh, so sorry. I probably sound crazy to you. Maybe I should leave?" he asked.

A smirk spread further and further across Leroy's face as the guy continued to talk. Real subtle, he though sarcastically to himself, trying not to laugh. It wasn't as if Leroy had been any more subtle himself. At least anyone overhearing them would only think that they were weird and not animorphs.
"Nonsense," Leroy said when the other guy suggest leaving. "Come on in. I have a feeling we have a lot in common." By now a huge grin was plastered on his face. "I'm Leroy, by the way. And you are?"

Johnny's eyes darted aropund, as if he was looking for a hole in the wall to hide him. Okay, so even if the guy was an Animorph, Johnny was definitely insane-sounding there. And first impressions were not his strong points either. So he faked a small smile as he said, "Um, I'm Johnathen. Johnathen Wayne. And yeah, John Wayne. But that wasn't my fault! it was my parent's fault for that. Just call me Johnny or something, okay?"
THen Johnny tentatively walked past the man and into the room, pulling his luggage behind him. He was beginning to feel a little creeped out, possible Animorph or not. What was up with that smile? Was there something wrong with the guy? Johnny wasn't too sure that he wanted to find out.

This new guy seemed a little nervous, or jittery, or something, but normal enough. "Okay Johnny, feel free to make yourself at home. I think there is still an empty room or two, if you want to set your stuff down in one of them." Then as a side note he added, "Or there is an extra bed in my room, too, I suppose."
Leroy had convinced himself that Johnny was indeed a new animorph so he thought nothing of it when he continued to provide information. "So far the only two people here are me and Allie, but she might be at work right now. I really don't know. Maybe she is in her room. I don't know how many of us there are going to be in the end, but I am guessing it will be enough to fill up the bedrooms in this apartment. So, got any morphs yet?" Leroy was in a curious mood at the moment and he was excited by the addition of Johnny to their group.

Woah! Multiple choice? John never did well with those questions. but it was a matter of sharing a room or having his own. He'd rather his own. "Umm, I'll take an empty room. Where are they?" he wondered. He wasn't about to go poking around a stranger's place, even if he was probably going to be living in the same apartment as him.
And this guy seemed like a fountain of information, just waiting for someone to pour their knowledge out on. Another person. A girl. Hmmm, John was beginning to like this place. A little bit more information came from the Oracle-dude and then a random question. "So, got any morphs yet?" "Huh? Oh, no. I haven't, uh, what's the word? Oh yeah, aquired anything. Yet. But I gotta go check out my job in about," he looked down at his watch, "three hours. Maybe I'll find something there."
In the meantime, Johnny was still standing in the middle of the front room, with a single bag of luggage.

"As long as nobody arrived while I was at work, then those two rooms should still be free." He pointed to a room on either side of the apartment. Leroy had only glanced in them so far, so he knew they were bedrooms, but that was about it.
Then, getting back to what else Johnny had said, Leroy asked, "So where do you work? I work at the Ocean World Aquarium. My boss said I could get some free tickets, so if you ever want to go I can hook you up."

"Okay," Johnny said as he crossed the room with his single bag of luggage, opened the door, and plopped his single bag of luggage on the bed. Okay. He had now officially moved in. He'd unpack later. Right now, he wanted to get through the introduction and get a little bit of rest before going to work. He actually would start his job tomorrow, but he was supposed to get a tour of the place or whatever and he didn't want to be late.
He rubbed his hands together before leaving the room and closing the door. Then he addressed the last comment that Leroy had made. "An aquarium? Nifty! That sounds so much cooler than working at," he stopped and tried to remeber where he worked. The paper was on his bed now, "Working at...Perry's Pet Shop. I mean, I'll be mucking out bird cages and... selling collars." he finished lamely.

Leroy held back a small chuckle. "Well it isn't like I'm a dolphin trainer or anything. I just sell tickets at the gate. I don't even get to see the animals, except for when I'm on break. At least at a pet shop you should be able to do that."
Leroy wasn't sure what to say next, so he plopped himself down in an armchair. "Oh, you should definitely acquire something when you are there. Morphing is pretty sweet. And kind of disgusting. I would do a demonstration for you, but I only have a bug morph so far. And watching someone turn into a bug could easily give someone nightmares."

"True." Johnny agreed. "I guess your job isn't the most exciting. But then again, we were hired by the government and I doubt that they care what anybody wants. I mean, I'm okay with animals, but hanging out at a pet store about eight hours a day isn't my idea of fun."
He watched as Leroy fell into a chair. Johnny elected to stand. "I'm goo. I think I can live without that bit of sensory data. And I'll attempt to aquire something. Not sure what. But I guess there would be no point of getting the morphing power if I didn't morph so I'll try to do that." So Johnny then let his eyes wander around the room, suddenly feeling how awkward it was.

Allie wandered in through the front door and heard something about trying morphing. Oh! Must have another new member of the team here. A part of her wanted to morph and sneak in, and she could seeing as she was wearing a leotard under her work clothes. She'd just gotten back from the ranch so she smelled like a barn.
Taking a few minutes to morph the tuxedo patterned cat, shrinking out of her stinky clothes that she'd come back later and retrieve she padded her way into the room where the new guy and Leroy were.
<<You mean show him this?>> She asked in both their heads. She jumped onto a chair and sat down, starting to demorph as she said <<I'm Allie by the way. Nice to meet you.>> After another couple minutes she shifted her position in the chair to sitting and the demorph finished with her ears shifting back down her head and becoming round rather than pointed.

A cat walked in. That was unexpected. A beautiful cat, actually. Then came the voice. show who what? Johnny snapped his head around, looking everywhere for the voice. Was he going crazy? Definitely. No wonder SPECTER seemed so miracluous. I'm probably in the looney bin.
As he was looking for the voice (that might not have even existed), his eyes suddenly fell on a good-looking girl sitting in a chair. SHe hadn't been there a few minutes ago. And now the cat was gone. Johnny rubbed his eyes, hoping that his eyes were playing tricks on him. He asked Leroy...and the girl, "Wh-Who's Allie? and did you two hear that voice a moment ago?"

"Wow. They must not have told you much when they recruited you." Leroy half-laughed at his own joke. "That," he said pointing at Allie, "is Allie. She was also the voice in your head when she was in her cat morph.
Then to Allie he asked, "So, were you at work, or what? And why were you a cat?" Leroy shook off his mild confusion. It wasn't really important, anyway. "We should all go get something to eat or something. You know, get to know each other."

Nadia sipped on her soda as she walked down the hallway. Ever since her "death," she had to keep her profile on the down-low. She had no idea she had been chosen for this government thing. Typical. I was the last to know.
Nadia stirred her drink. A Shirley Temple, to be exact. She looked over and saw Brother Bear playing through one of the windows. It was pretty funny that her last name was in that movie. Little thieves.... She smirked as she walked out to the rail and stared out at the view. She would miss normal life...
