((OOC: The morph list is awesome. Is the zoo closed or what?))
Leopold flew a bit around, looking for a place to demorph as well as an animal that interested him. All of the others were focusing on getting their own morphs and Leopold wanted something unique. He finally found it, hopping around in its pen with a few others on its powerful hind legs. One of them had a Joey in her pouch.
Yes indeed; he had selected the Red Kangaroo as his battle morph. He found a patch of trees that was currently drawing no attention from the people at the zoo. He let the stork land for him...though, due to his lack of practice with the creature, his landing was less than perfect. He waddled behind a tree, and spoke to the others.
<I’m going to acquire a kangaroo. Wish me luck.> He then demorphed, and when he was done, approached the cage, looking around to see if anyone was there.

Ray flew up and looked over at Rox. <<Aw, she cares about me. How sweet.>> Had he been in human form, he would have been grinning. Sadly, in the bug form the best he could do was buzz in enthusiasm. Flying around, he looked to see if he could do anything to help. He would have gone to Hope, but he figured it would be best to look out for both of them. Watching from as high as he could get without feeling woozy, he swung around.
Leo had gone into the cage, looking for a kangaroo. Were the angry animals? From what Ray had heard, he didn’t think so. But he did know they could get violent, just like any other. His father had never worked on that kind of animal, so Ray didn’t know much. What Ray did know about, was bighorn sheep. One of the things that his father had taken in…And they could get violent. Very much so…<<Hope, be careful. I mean extremely so. Those are animals with more bronk than brains…>>He swopped closer, deciding he would take care of an animal that he knew at least something about.

Rox just ignored the ambient chatter going on since she was human now and couldn't answer anyway. Besides, she had her own problems. She was stuck on a roof. Just when she was about to give up on finding a way down, she found a roof-access point and went through. She was surprised it wasn't locked. Rox climbed down the ladder-like steps and exited through a door that lead into a hallway. She was lucky that the hallway was empty since she would have looked extremely out of place. She was in nothing but a swimsuit, and by the looks of it, she was in some sort of lab. Rox practically tip-toed down the hallway in order to not be noticed. She figured the doorway would be at the end of the building, so she headed toward where she thought the end of the building was. When she was almost to the end of the hallway, someone opened a door on the corner not ten feet ahead of her. Without waiting to see who it was, Rox ducked into a room on her left. And immediately forgot she was hiding. On a table in front of her was a bear sleeping on a lab table. Rox was in shock and didn't know what to do. I was obviously tranquilized or something, otherwise it would have ripped her head off. But still, A BEAR! The clanking of glass roused her out of her stupor. For the first time she noticed that a lab worker was facing a countertop on the other side of the bear. Her back was toward Rox so she didn't even notice that Rox was there yet. Luckily. Rox was about to turn to leave when she got a bright idea. She stretched out her hand and touched the sleeping bear. It's DNA became part of hers. Unfortunately the lab worker turned around at about that time as well. "Hey! What are you doing in here? You shouldn't- GUARDS!" Rox wasted no time and bolted. She was able to be long gone before any guards showed up and even managed to slip into the zoo crowd. She still felt a little awkward walking around in her swimsuit, but not too bad. Now she was on a mission to find the others once again, while trying to avoid zoo staff in the process. Rox headed toward where she last saw Johnny.

Hope tried to stay calm. Apparently others were doing more foolish things in acquiring morphs than she was though, because Rox told her she was on her own. So far that wasn't too bad since the bighorn near her hadn't decided just what to do with her. Still, she was worried. She hadn't thought the acquiring part through much, and that in itself was her biggest flaw in getting this morph.
The sheep didn't move, not before she hear Ray's voice and knew the acquisition of the alligator had gone well. She was distracted looking for him when she heard the clatter of the sheep hooves on stone, looking just in time to dodge the charging male. She also missed trying to acquire him.
Yeah, I'm finding out that they're very brawny and violent right now. Still, I'm glad someone is watching out for me. The sheep turned to make another pass and this time Hope leaped and grabbed it. It dragged her for a ways, but then started to slow down as the trance set in. There was pain from whatever damage had been done to her legs while she'd been dragged, but it didn't bother Hope so much. She was too proud of herself.
Still, celebration had to wait. She morphed her pelican and took off into the air to heal her legs and get out of danger. <<Thanks for watching out for me, Ray. I didn't think that one through so well, and I'm probably lucky it went as well as it did.>>
