"Feel better?" she asked softly, her own eyes still closed and feeling the warmth of the sun, the tender touch of the earth and grass, almost like she was floating. She loved the sensation. It reminded her of home. She ran her fingers over the grass, partially opening her eyes to see Shadow sprawled out on the grass, then over to see even Sky Song had lay down. Smiling again she closed her eyes. Everyone needed this.

It had been an interesting effort to clear his mind. He hadn't realized how much there would be to get rid of. Once his mind was clear, he suddenly noticed how loud his heartbeat was. That was the force of his life, possibly even his will, flowing through his limbs, which were each sending back very disjointed signals.
Emily spoke, breaking his trance, and he blinked his eyes open. All his limbs and appendages were where they were supposed to be. "Yeah," he said. He really did need to do this more often. He felt more calm than he had since that party where his family had died. He needed calm. He hadn't really realized it before, but he needed to be calm when planning out the war against Erde Premier. He felt patient. He could wait for SPECTER to send him new information about the organization. He closed his eyes again and tried to clear his mind.

Emily smiled and looked up at the sky, listening as the wind washed over her. Since her natural animal abilities, she could hear every small sound, and enjoyed it. The life, the joy, the celebration. But she felt a strange sense coming from Jeremy. Even though he was relaxing now, he obviously had a lot on his mind, and she wasn't sure what. She felt a strange sense of vengence, pain, anger, and confusion.
She pondered that as she stared at the sky, watching a flock of geese fly overhead. She sighed softly and closed her eyes, emptying her mind of all but the physical and emotional sensations surrounding her, carefully blocking out the ones emitting from Jeremy. Letting herself get caught up in that would be dangerous. She needed clarity.
Shadow nudged her hand and she opened her eyes to see him looking at her with concern. She shook her head gently and rubbed Shadow behind the ears. He lay his head back on his paws, keeping an eye on both her and Jeremy. She knew he wouldn't relax now. Which was probibly a large part because of the connection through him being her first morph.
