(You guys in "Picking Up the Pieces" whine too much about New England-- it's not THAT cold ) "You'll be moved to Arbella, California along with other Animorphs. Your death has been faked and taken care of. You will be debriefed when you arrive-- here's the address."That was the gist of what SPECTER told Olivia and Anthony before they were moved to Arbella. Now they were on a small bus to the place and not too far from it. It had been a decent drive, even though a tad on the long side for her. Anthony stayed next to her, his sweatshirt rather large on her. It was warmer here, so it would probably be a good idea to take it off. The dry heat was the only thing she didn't like much about California-- though, she supposed it was better than humidity. She slipped the sweatshirt off and folded it neatly, putting it in between her and him-- he seemed to be dozing lightly, though it was hard for her to tell. The bus stopped abruptly in front of an apartment complex, a large one at that. Olivia looked to Anthony hesitantly, knowing that this was the right place, and nudged him slightly. "We're here," she said, her voice barely above a whisper, "We should go." It was plainly obvious she wanted off this bus right here and right now.

Tony woke from a nap about that MAG game where he was getting killed every ten minuets... HA! if only he was that good. Dreams aside, the lovely young lady beside him was telling him that they should go, and she seemed she was in a hurry. What was her name again, Olive? Oliver Twist... Please sir I want some more!... yech who likes porridge... oh right her name... Ollie... Ollisa.. Olivia! that was it.
"Alright, ladies first," he said standing up to let her out, making sure to pick up his sweatshirt she must have taken off during the ride, as they got off the bus he had to think of this faked death he had apparently... Squished between to 18 wheelers which proceeded to explode incinerating all traces of him? Seriously? Wouldn't he hear a Truck coming, let alone two? These SPECTER people needed serious help.
He held the door for her as they walked in the building and then as they entered the elevator to go to the top floor, he decided he needed to know more about her, after all apparently they would be working together as animals.... morphs... something like that.
"So.... Tell me about yourself."

Was this guy trying to be nice to impress her? She couldn't help but wonder that-- she wasn't used to guys being so much like the gentlemen their parents told them to be. She walked into the building after he opened the door for her, going into the elevator to get to the top floor. She hugged her luggage close to her, knowing her sketch pad was still in there.
"So... tell me about yourself," she heard him say, pausing to think for a minute. What was there to tell? She never liked to say much about herself, often too shy to say much. She bit her lip slightly, not sure what to say.
"I like to draw," she told him. Wait, he probably knew that since she was drawing when he met her. "Umm... I'm from Los Angeles..." Well, that told him a lot-- a lot of people that went to that school that they went to probably were from Los Angeles. What exactly was she supposed to say to this guy? She didn't know him well enough to tell him anything.
Fortunately, for her anyway, they reached the top floor. She stepped out of the elevator quickly, bringing her things with her. Her nerves were going a bit nuts-- hopefully this guy wouldn't take offense to her.
Now, this apartment couldn't be too hard to find right?

Well that was informative... hopefully she would open up later to him or something because its hard to work with people you don't know. As they walked down the hall in silence, Tony had to wonder why they pick this girl, she didn't seem much of the fighting type. Well he hoped this SPECTER group knew what they were doing on something, because she seemed nice and they shouldn't put such nice sweet innocent people in danger.
Looking at wall paintings and mirrors as he walked past, he had to wonder what was in store for them, lets just hope it wasn't going into major battle zones or something as a kitten or snail, oh yah, I'm so going to take out a terrorist with my slime. Ha! take that vile swine, you look slimey now for your dinner engagement!.... As they came to the door of the apartment he knocked with three resounding thuds.. hope that didn't bend the door.

Informed ahead of time that a few new members were supposed to be joining them, Mark had been placed as lookout on the front of the building. Literally. They hadn't gotten pictures or even decent knowledge of the when of their arrival so he'd spent the better part of the morning sitting above the door as a wasp learning to understand human speech.
It's funny what people would believe if you gave them the option so, before he began his vigil he'd hooked a grill with a button underneat of it beside the door to look like an intercom. Hopefully they'd think he was speaking to them instead of using the telepathy that morphing forced people to use. <Hello? Do you have an apointment?> He began cleaning his antenae again, giving in to the insect's habit.

The voice in her head startled Olivia, causing her to jump slightly-- did someone just talk in her head? Was this an Animorph thing? She didn't know too much about the Animorphs, so she had to pay extra attention to what SPECTER was telling them about them. Apparently, being able to talk to each other telepathically, or something of the sort, was possible.
"SPECTER sent us here," she told the voice hesitantly, not sure where it was coming from. Could they even hear her? She sure hoped so. Was this even the right place? Wait, this had to be. No one else had the power to talk telepathically. She waited for the answer from the other side of the door.

<<Silly Mark. Of course they don't have an appointment. We're not listed in the phone-book yet, remember? Besides, hardly anyone reads our ad in the tabloids.>> Johnny said in his own wasp morph about a foot away from Mark. He had decided to come out and just goof off in his morph since his new job (at a branch of Perry's Pet Mart, go figure) had gone ahead and given him a vacation day. He had no idea why, but he wasn't complaining.
Johnny peered down at the pixelated blobs below him. There were two of them, he thought. One of them was speaker and the vibrations felt faster and higher, so it must've been a girl. And that gave him a surge of hope. So far, there weren't many options in Arbella. There had been oodles of them in Mariposa but now the odds were looking up. <<Hey, what's your name? Um, what are your names, I should say. And hey, are you her boyfriend?>> Johnny hoped he would say no.

"No I'm not her boyfriend, I just met her less then a day ago.. Where are you guys?"
Tony wasn't sure he liked these guys, basically trying to ask out the young lady before they got to know anything about her... wait... he wasn't her father... he barely knew her... why was he being so defensive?.... Pushing away those thoughts he answered the questions.
"I'm Tony and she is Olive... I mean Olivia, now if you guys don't mind showing yourselfs, we would be glad to know more of whats going on."
Tony absolutely hated not knowing what is going on, so he hoped he would get some answers, and you know, this voices in his head thing was creeping him out... maybe he should have paid more attention to what those SPECTER guys had said. Maybe Olive... Olivia would take pity on him later and tell him what he missed... What does SPECTER mean anyway?... Oh and I should ask Olivia if I can call her Olive...

Mark sure was paranoid, and Leopold wondered if it was for the best. He hadn't yet sought a job here in Arbella; he was still slightly sour over having to leave Hemington's raptor centre, but for this, which would certainly be a wild adventure, it might be worth it. Plus, his friend was free, and he could still morph her whenever he wanted and take a fly. That's what he was doing right now, to check out the town beneath him. He'd made sure and let Mark know, of course.
As he was returning home, he noticed two people heading into the apartment. He decided to land in a tree, and watch from afar. After listening, he figured they were, indeed, the new Animorphs, from what he'd heard between the people talking. He flew into an open window in an unoccupied hallway, then approached them carefully. "Hi..." he said, albeit a little shyly. "Leopold Asden; fellow Animorph of Arbella." He extended his hand. He was dressed in his skintight white shirt and black bike shorts; he looked a bit strange and out-of-place like this.
((OOC: *hopes I didn't make any mistakes this time* ^^;; ))

What in the world was going on?! The next guy that spoke after the first, or telepathically spoke, seemed kind of nice. Then he asked if Anthony was her boyfriend, which made her raise her eyebrows-- she shook her head to this to add to his decline, though she doubted the speaker could see her from wherever he was. Then Anthony called her Olive, which made her turn her head to him a bit-- most people in school liked that nickname for her, mainly because she was so small.
It was shortly after that another Animorph came into the picture, though they could physically see him. His presence startled her at first, though he seemed like an all right guy. His clothes were a tad odd to her, but she didn't comment-- she remembered SPECTER said something about skin tight clothing. She nervously put her hand out to shake his, her hand trembling a bit until it reached his and lightly shook it.
"Olivia Diamond," she stuttered, "N-nice to meet you." She really wished she could stop stuttering-- she sounded like a nervous wreck! It's beside the point that she sort of was.

((Who's paranoid... just wanted practice in morph... shot))
Slipping into the door behind them was easy enough, though he barely got in before it shut on him. He landed on the ceiling over the door to the apartment and waited for a second as Leopold walked down the hallway. The Yellow Jacket settled its wings on its back and settled closer to the ceiling. <You really need to find a tight black jacket, and maybe a tie, to go with that. Think about it. A morphing Tuxedo!> He directed this just at his friend, not wanting to embarass him openly.
Letting his focus turn back to the whole group, he got back to business. <But we have been showing ourselves. We've been right in front of you, or in my case above you, since we started talking to you.> He began demorphing and stopped. Oh ho ho! You may have gotten me once before but I'm not falling for that trick again, Madame Gravity. Just because the morph is light enough doesn't mean I won't concuss myself falling ten feet.
He jetted into the bathroom and landed on the floor before returning to his human form. Since he'd been coming in here all morning he had some clothes and was able to put something on before going out to meet the newcomers. This was fortunate for him since he'd yet to master keeping anything better then underarmour when morphing.

<<Where we're at? That's over your head at the moment.>> Laughter rang in his voice as Johnny laughed at his own pun. Privately, he was thinking, Sweet! Oh, yeah. Arbella's amazing! Maybe SPECTER knew what it was doing after all. Johnny knew that he would just have to tell Leroy about it. Then Mark spoke and his witty response was almost ruined.
Johnny responded to the duo with his own name. <<I'm Johnathen. You can call meh John Wayne, but most folks 'round he'uh call meh Johnny.>> Johnny hoped that passed for an authentic Old West imitation. He had been working on it ever since moving to Texas. He also complied with Boney's (the wasp heard it wrong) wishes. He showed himself as he talked.
By flying off of the front of the door and buzzing over to land on Boney's nose, his favorite air strip on a person, as Nate could have attested. He continued, saying, <<And please pay no attention at all to the wasp that just randomly landed on your nose.>> About then he noticed Leopold. <<Hey Leo, whazzup?>>

Tony took the piece of paper out of his back pocket that had the address to the apartment on it, scooping up the wasp and setting it down on the table.
"Johnny Boy, I would appreciate it if you didn't land on my nose, as I will be inclined to squish you every time you do, and the name is TONY Tee-OHH-NNN-WHY TONY," Tony said as he stared down at the wasp, "Now would you gentleme...mals be so kind as to show us where we can put this luggage and what to expect.
Tony was seriously wondering why he had brought himself, and Olive, into this... surely the government can't actually go around making people dissapper? Didn't he have a friend in the NSA he could have asked for help if they and tried? or was it FBI? he really needed to check up on his old pal Richy sometime..... except SPECTER won't allow that now will they. Speaking of which...

Leopold shook back, noticing how nervous she was; he had expected people to be that nervous, considering the nature of what was going on, and all. He heard Mark’s thought-speech in his head, and shook his head, chuckling; too cheesy, he thought. He had no way of knowing he’d “whispered” that. Then Mark continued, and Leopold sighed; that would surely make the more nervous, wouldn’t it? Obviously, these people were trustworthy; he couldn’t think of Sarah sending people like this. Leopold would be dead now if they had. He shuddered at the thought, then thought about it again. Sarah didn’t even know they were here – yet. They’d be fine, for now.
Then Johnny went and landed himself on Tony’s nose. Honestly, I hope he stops doing that; he’s going to get hurt someday, Leopold thought. At least he was the comic relief; well, that was what Leo liked to refer to him as. “Welcome to Arbella,” he said. It was hard to believe that about four years ago, the Animorphs had fought, in this very state. The original Animorphs. There was a new batch of Animorphs now; that was them. “And nice way of making people feel at home, Mark, Johnny.” He rolled his eyes. “They’re pretty cool, though. As for Internet access, yeah.” He’d been using his own laptop to research Arbella, lately. Though, he had better methods: flying over the city in bird morph.
“Put your bags over there for now. No need to mess with them right now.” He went to the kitchen which was connected, and opened the fridge. “Thirsty?” he asked. “Hm...I guess I should ask now. How much did SPECTER tell you about what your mission was?”

After really debating on whether he should sting (he had done research on the wasp and found out that they didn't die) Tee-Ohh-En-Why, he flew off the table, circled around the guy's head a few times then landed on the refridgerator. The the fridge began moving underneath him and wind began to pound on him. <<Woohoo! Ooo, that's fun! Hey! Do that again Leopard!>>
As he waited for the ride again, Johnny just crawled over to the edge. That would be the funnest part, right? But nothing happened. Mumbling to himself about how unfair life was, Johnny flew out of the room, unfortunately depriving the others of his presence. He started growing and shifting as soon as he thought he was out of sight. Withins minutes, be was his ever-lovin's blonde haired self.
