Personality: Calm, Charming, and Steady, Anthony is known for trying to step in to fix something he sees wrong. A man that likes good natured humor, he goes out with his buddies on Friday nights, always being the designated driver. While everyone is surprised that he’s never dated, inside, he has always been afraid to since he doesn’t know everything about it. He hates not knowing what he’s doing and prefers to know exactly what he’s getting himself into.
Biography: Anthony was born in Naples, Italy. At age one and a half, his parents got involved in a mob looting by accident. They were shot and he was rescued by an old lady who happened to be one of the mob boss' grandmother. She had him put up for adoption after her grandson had tried to kill him sixteen times in five weeks (he wasn't a very good mob boss now was he?). With the help of a UN program, he was adopted by a couple in Maine that were incapable of having children of their own.
He was always a high B, low A student, never getting in much trouble and played Baseball every year. To make money during High school he worked at great skates (a roller blading place) and also did some random repair jobs with his dad. Graduating seventh in his class at John Bapst Memorial High school, Tony is accepted into Cal Poly San Louis Obispo for a major in Biochemistry and is doing well in his graduating year.
How they were recruited:
It was another dull afternoon at college… or it would be if Tony and his buddies weren’t destroying each other and hundreds of other people in PlayStation’s MAG. After getting killed for the 20th time in thirty minutes, he excused himself to go return a book to the library. With five weeks to graduation, he needed to get this book back before he forgot. Dropping the Calvin and Hobbes anthology in the return slot, he decided to take a short stroll before going back to stretch his legs.
As he walked across the campus greens, he saw two men in gray jackets approach a nice looking young lady and one grabbed her arm. This couldn’t be good, and he wasn’t about to let some poor innocent person get abducted; not if he had anything to do with it. Tony dashed over to that confrontation, sliding in between the short blonde and the taller men saying, “Can I help you gentlemen?”
“This is none of your concern,” said the taller of the two, obviously trying to look menacing. He may be shorter than them, but Tony didn’t care. His parents died in something that was “none of their concern”-- he wasn’t about to let that happen to this poor girl.
“Well if it’s none of my concern, then I’m sure it’s none of hers either. No need to scare the young lady. Just go back to wherever you came from and leave this place.”
“Sir if you do not step out of our way, you will be endangering the world”
Tony couldn’t believe these men were able to say that with a straight face. That had to be the lamest lie he had heard in his life. What was this, the TV show Heroes? “Save the cheerleader, save the world?” Sorry folks, she was painting, not cheering on the football team, and there was no way she had super healing powers.
“You two need to get your heads examined, no get out of here or I’ll call the whole fraternity on you. You may have some freaky kung fu junk that you know, but these guys could flatten you in five seconds, now LEAVE!”
The two men looked at each other, somewhat amused by this guy’s antics. The girl didn’t seem to be paying attention to that, busy looking at the ground. They whispered to each other for a couple of minutes, making Tony raise an eyebrow. After their short discussion, they looked back to him.
“Sir, we are working for a secret government agency recruiting future Animorphs, and she is one we selected, you have the right not to believe us. But, if you must, you may accompany her to where we are going. That being said, if you try to prevent us from taking her, or if she does not cooperate, we will make her father vanish, and that you and your “frat boys” will have no control over. So its up to you and her, I suggest you talk it over with her”
Frat Boys?!?!!?!?!?!?! Not that it was the most important thing, but that hurt! Either way, making her dad disappear just wasn’t right, not right at all, but they weren’t giving either of them an option were they… No way in hell he was going to let some poor innocent girl get taken all by her self, who knows what they could do. Besides, she may look weak, but she must be able to fit in small places, so if need be, they could escape out of a ventilation system or something. Well, guess it would be better he tell her them they do, they look wayyyyy less trustable.
“What is your name?” he asked as he turned to her. He could barely hear her whisper Olivia, poor thing, she must be frighten out of her mind. He may hate this but he saw no other way.
“These two gentlemen have informed me that if you do not cooperate, they will take your dad away,” he said as she started to tremble, “That being said, I can pretty much guess your decision. So, if you’d like, I’ll accompany you to wherever they’re taking you.” Knowing that this would still be scary, he tried to give her a hint of his idea to escape by whispering, “Two have a better chance than one.”
She had to think for a short bit before finally nodding weakly and saying “Okay”. He offered her his hand as they walked to wherever these men were leading them. As a light drizzle started, he took of his sweatshirt to cover her with it; it was the least he could do.
What had he gotten himself into?
Preferred Job: Laboratory
First Morph: In working on a research project on how animals keep there coats clean and shiny, a domesticated wolf was brought in to study. Late one night, Tony was giving it dinner and being sleepy, he absentmindedly started to pet it, forgetting it was indeed a wolf.
