1. Use common sense. If you know you shouldn't do it, then don't.
2. Keep it appropriate. I would like to keep this site high school appropriate. Swearing can be acceptable if used in the appropriate way, but try to keep it to a minimum. Same goes for intimate romances.
3. No god-moding. This means do not take control of other people's characters without permission.
4. No relation to Canon characters. It is against the rules for your character to be related to, friends with, or even a distant neighbor of one of the characters from the books. However, if you think you have a really good reason for an exception, I am willing to hear it.
5. Only two characters per person please. If you really want more than that, please ask permission first. I may or may not allow it. (each character should have its own account)
6. Be respectful. Be courteous to others and try to get along. We are all here to have fun, so lets keep it that way.
7. Posts while 'in character' should consist of at least two paragraphs with at least three sentences per paragraph. This is in order to promote more in-depth RPing (it really isn't as hard to do as some of you may think). Also, no double posting in most circumstances.
8. Characters that have been inactive for three weeks without a stated excuse will be moved to Oakland Grove. This is a city for inactive and retired characters only. Accounts with no character application submitted within three weeks will be deleted. Characters that have been inactive for five weeks will have their accounts deleted.
9. I reserve the right to add or modify any rules if I deem it necessary.
10. In your character application when it asks you "Have you Read the Rules?" type the word "haberdasher."
If you have a question concerning any of these rules, please send a PM to Leroy. Chances are that if you were confused or unsure about something, someone else may be as well. Don't worry, I don't bite.
