So, anyone got any ideas for a group morph mission, or a morph you would like to have used in a mission? I have some ideas for both morphs and missions, but I would like to hear some of your ideas first. I don't want my ideas to hold extra weight or something just because I am the admin

I'm not sure about morphs or missions for Mariposa. I do have an idea for Arbella..... though this isn't the place to put that.
I wouldn't mind getting a sea or land morph. Those could have some interesting missions involved too.

A sea morph would be fun; it could make for an interesting underwater expedition. What about killer whales, perhaps?

what if we were hunting poachers of some sort? i don't kno if there are whalers in the gulf of mexico, but if there are...
the idea would be that we morph whatever the poachers are hunting and attack the poachers enough to scare, but not enough to hurt, and that makes them too freaked to be poachers. or something like that.

After doing a bit of research (wikipedia ) I discovered that killer whales can be found in the Gulf of Mexico by Texas. Not only that, but orcas have been known to be hunted from time to time. I wasn't able to find any evidence that whaling has taken place in the Gulf of Mexico recently, but that doesn't really matter anyway. The whalers could have just started up their whaling recently or something. Also, orcas are pretty much the biggest sea creatures that are commonly kept at marine parks, and it just so happens that Mariposa has a large aquarium... Edit: Another option might be the whale shark.

I'd definitely be up for an ocean morph!

I'm all for doing the whale sharks or orcas.... whichever one. If we've started a thread, point me to it.

I would vote orca, personally.

After reading about whale sharks, I think that orcas would actually be better for the type of mission we had in mind (whale sharks are really slow swimmers). However, it would still be entirely possible to acquire a whale shark in the wild during the mission for anyone who still wants to. The only drawback is that they would have to use up one of their normal morph slots.

I don't really mind if the group morph is an orca or a whale shark, even though I'm leaning more towards whale shark. But if you're saying orcas would be better, I'd also love to do an orca morph as well.

Well, you could always acquire both if you wanted to. Like Leroy said, you use your second morph for the whale-shark and the orca for the group morph.
Personally the orca sounds like it would be fun. I've always loved those, just never found a great reason to use it as a morph for a character.

So does someone want to submit orca to the Group Morphs List to make it official? And so there is a written record of the decision. I feel a bit silly submitting it to myself.
