((OOC: If one or both of you two who were tagged don’t want to join in on this, PM me and I’ll open the spot to whoever wants to jump in. I figured Ty and Jamilan should get a chance to meet each other, and I’m hoping for a Leroy/Jamilan friendship, especially because of the hilarious prince thing)).
Jamilan had told a few of the others that he was going on a mission – a mission to find the parts for the custom computer he was going to build. He was using his own money, and hadn’t requested funds from the others. This was his project, but he’d need their help, since he wasn’t completely knowledgeable about human society and didn’t want to venture out without knowing what he was doing. It was a Saturday; someone had suggested that day of the week because humans tended to have events known as “garage sales” on a warm, sunny Saturday.
Jamilan really wished that he could afford a car. Maybe someday. He wasn’t particular...as long as it was blue. SPECTER wasn’t friendly enough to provide them with this, though they had other modes of transportation. Unfortunately, you couldn’t carry money or purchased objects as a bird without attracting some attention.
That was why they were going to catch the bus. Jamilan had freshly morphed to human, and was dressing with little difficulty; he was used to putting clothes on. Once dressed, he grabbed his bag, and waited for the others.

(OOC: Hope nobody minds, but I'm skipping a little ahead, so that Bandit is already there.)
Ty hummed a little to herself as she finished braiding her hair, glancing in the mirror for only a second before turning to slip on her shoes. She'd gotten up early out of habit, and had been up for several hours, just unpacking and getting everything to its place in her new room. Bandit was sprawled out on her bed, his head laying on the pillows and snuggled underneath a blanket, just dozing in and out of consciousness. She smiled and went and ruffled his long, black, silky ears. That was her baby - spoilt rotten.
She blinked, glancing at her alarm clock before gathering up her messenger bag and putting out Bandit's food, water, and some newspaper. She went and scratched behind his ears again, to which he just looked up at her with dark brown eyes and rolled over on his back, hoping to have his tummy rubbed. She chuckled at him, but obliged. "Now, please be good," she spoke to him as if he could understand her. "Don't disturb anybody while I'm gone." She double checked to make sure she'd done everything that needed to be done, then pulled her door too - she didn't want Bandit making a nuisance of himself around the others. Not to mention it would be much easier to just clean up her room rather than having to search the whole building for things that he'd broken, or worse.
She started down the hall, but stopped when she saw the other person waiting. She took a deep breath and stepped forward. "Hi. I'm Ty," she gave a small smile.

Leroy tied his shoes, then pulled a button-up shirt over a white undershirt. He left it unbuttoned. He thought the loose look was kinda cool. Besides, he was only going garage saleing. It wasn't as if he had to dress up. He grabbed his wallet and wristwatch and headed out of his room.
"You guys ready?" he called down the hall before he could even see for himself if they were or not. He knew Jamilan was going since he was the one who needed to buy something, but Leroy wasn't sure who else was going. "Oh, hey guys," was all Leroy said when he turned the corner and caught sight of Ty and Jamilan. Jamilan in his human morph, of course.

Jamilan hadn’t gotten the chance to meet her, thus, it was quite a delight to finally get to do so. He’d been trying his best to smile using his human mouth, though it usually turned out awkward. He did so as she greeted him, however the smile from his eyes was the more welcoming and less awkward look. “Jamilan,” he replied. “It is a pleasure to meet you.” He inclined his head slightly in greeting, still used to his people’s ways of course.
He glanced over at Prince Leroy, who had just come out. “Good day, Leroy,” he replied. “We are indeed ready.” He didn’t like walking on these two legs, but practice made perfect, as the humans liked to say. They began to walk down the sidewalk, and Jamilan turned his attention back to Ty.
