Why did I come here? He thought as he swam away from the monster. He was a little fuzzy as to the how as well now that he thought about it.
He'd needed a swimming morph so he'd set out early one morning to the ocean. Not wearing much beyond his morphing clothes, and the cheap flipflops not being a big loss if stolen, he had arrived at the beach by bus looking like a tourist. Putting his bus pass under the sleave of his swim shirt, he put the flipflops he slipped the flipflops under a trash can and walked behind a restaurant.
A few minutes later a pelican emerged from the alley from above and flew off into the open ocean. It had taken him a few hours to find a likely animal. In that time he'd managed the trick of demorphing and remorphing while swimming... drowning really the first time. The trick is to hold your breath and go as fast as possible. He'd spotted a few sharks or dolphins in his travel, but they'd all been in groups. Not a good thing if they were aggressive, since he could only calm one at once.
When he'd spotted the lone creature he'd been overjoyed at finally finding something he could aquire, so he'd flown low to get a good look at the thing. Wow that's big He'd thought right before it had leapt from the water and snapped at him. He'd decided that the best course of action then was to fly in front of it and demorph. Sharks didn't attack humans after all, divers approached them all the time...
"Were it only so bloody easy!" He managed to gasp as he swam, the shark closing on him easily. Feeling something bump his foot, he managed to accelerate a bit on sheer adrenaline before he felt jaws close on his left foot. Almost howling in pain, he took a deep breath and spun as good as he was able with his foot being eaten and grabbed the top of the creature's head and concentrated on the massive thing. It was honestly hard to think of anything else but the shark at the moment.
As it relaxed, he managed to pull his foot out of its mouth and slide down the side of the beast to grasp its primary dorsal fin. Still concentrating, he felt his body begin to grow and extend as he took on the form of the shark. Morph complete, and animal just coming out of its daze, he was caught up in the scent of blood for a few seconds before shaking himself out of it. Course there's blood, it tried to bite my bloody leg off.
Swimming away he caught sight of more sharks going to his attack point and mentally shrugged. Though he may have been capable of playing shark wrangler again, he didn't want to in the slightest. Getting far enough away, he demorphed and remorphed the pelican. As he shrunk down to that size he felt something start to fall off his leg and grabbed it instinctively before shoving it into his rapidly forming beak. That done he flew towards the coastline. He managed to get back as the sun was setting and spit the weird object on the ground before demorphing. Picking it up he chuckled to himself as he slid the bloodstained tooth into the pocket of his pants. Nobody would believe this even with this evidence. He found his flipflops and caught a bus back to base.

Late that night as he sat at his computer, he dug the tooth out of his pocket and set it on his lamp. Frowning, he realized he didn't actually know what kind of shark he had aquired. Running through some pictures he found his answer and groaned audibly as he read the entry...
"One of these days I'm going to die doing stuff like this, but you know what?" He leaned back in his chair and sighed. "I can honestly say I won't regret it." He closed his eyes and smiled.
((OOC:: Honestly, anyone who's watched shark week will know that 'sharks don't attack people' because they're unfamiliar as prey. That combined with video of people petting the things could cause somebody to do something really... stupid. Oh, and Bull sharks are absolutely insane but I don't think Mark knew that. Will change if necessary.))

Bull sharks eat fish, other sharks, dolphins, rays, turtles, seabirds, molluscs, echinoderms, crustaceans, and virtually any other animal.
