Name: Emily Anne Orion ((Em))
Gender: female
Age: 19
Appearance: She stands at 5'7, with long dark auburn hair to mid back, emerald green eyes, lightly tanned skin, lean frame, medium build. She has no real set fashion, but prefers jeans with a low neckline shirt. She loves to show her attitude through her clothes and footwear. She hates flip-flops and platform shoes, and turtle necks. She usually follows her moods with clothes, and loves dressing up for going out.
Personality: She is generally good natured and is drawn to animals. Though shy, she is outgoing when it comes to karoke and to meeting people who look lonely. She is also very opinionated and is more than willing to argue her point at any time. Most of the time she is caught up in her own little world, until dealing with animals and then she becomes involved in their little world. She is a sucker for the under-dog and is willing to help as best she can. Her creative streak shows in her drawings.
Biography: Emily was born and raised on a ranch, and becoming a helping hand as soon as she was four years old and could help with the minor jobs. Her parents were very helpful, making sure her knowledge is well rounded, both in the kitchen and outside on the ranch. Her favorite things to do were baking and riding horses. Though she did explore the land with Shadow, a black lab that followed her everywhere ((hense the name, he had been doing it since he was born)). She also practiced horse jumping on her free time. Though she had known from an early age she was different, she didn't think much of it, but learned quickly not to do it around others.
How they were recruited: Emily was recruited easily with the promise of a job she would love. And since she knew that she had to get out on her own at some point, however temporarily or long, and so their offer was accepted. Little did she know it was going to be incredibly long.
Recruited Post:
Emily ran a brush over her mare's broad mouse-gray back, humming contently. It was a beautiful day, the sun shining brightly, and called her out to the wild prairies. "Emily! There's someone here for you!" Emily glanced back over her shoulder, bewildered. Why would someone be here for her? She didn't have that many human friends, and she highly doubted an animal would show up asking for her.
Dusting her hands off on her jeans, she gave the mare a last rub behind the ears before heading back to the house, her black lab Shadow right behind her. A sleek black car sat in the driveway next to her Dad's red pickup and her Mom's blue SUV. Strange.
She entered the house, following the sounds of voices until she came into the living rooom. "Emily, must you bring that dog in with you? We have company!" Emily gestured and Shadow disappeared out the doggy door, though she knew he would be sitting just outside the door.
"Your Dad and I will be in the kitchen, apparently they need to talk to you alone." Her parents got up left to go do chores outside. They knew she could take care of herself. "So what do you want with me?" she asked the two gentlemen in black suits. She didn't trust them, but neither did she feel threatened by them.
The two men stood up, and the eldest spoke. "We have a job that you would be perfectly suited for. Are you interested?" Emily frowned, looking from one man to the other suspiciously. "What do you have in mind? And how do you know I would be be perfectly suited for it?"
"It involves working with animals, and you're raised on a farm. We have heard good stories about your work with animals." The youngest said smoothly, flashing her a winning smile. She didn't believe it for a second. But it WAS time for her to get off the ranch. And then her parents wouldn't have to worry about what she would do with her life.
"Fine, I'll do it. But if there are no animals, I won't stay," she said firmly, head held high and determined. Both held out a hand to her. "It's a deal." She looked at the hands for a moment then looked back up. "Shadow and Sky Song must come with me." "Deal." She nodded slowly and shook both their hands. "So when?" she asked her eyes moving from one to the other. "We'll send a truck for you and your animals."
The men headed out the door and got into their car, peeling out of the yard as if they were in some car chase. Emily stood outside the door, Shadow standing next to her, also watching the car. Strange men. She hoped she had made the right decision.
((sorry, I got a little carried away...))
Preferred Job: horse trainer/animal shelter
First morph: First morph is a black lab because of the constant time she spent with Shadow. ((Can she have a mouse gray quarter horse as her close second morph because she spends a lot of time with the mare (Sky Song) as well?))
