Cast: Jamilan, Leroy, Allie, Jeremy, Nate, and Savannah Morph to Acquire: Orca Discussion Topic*** Jamilan was leafing through the classifieds, looking for a job. He still couldn't figure out what to do, and was considering asking one of the humans to help him out in that regards. They would know it better, after all. He couldn't just stand around here doing nothing. He had to be of some use. He was alone when he heard the buzz that alerted him that someone was coming to their door. He quickly morphed human, though he wasn't an estreen, and thus he couldn't morph quickly. Now in his skin-tights, the blond-haired youth went to the door and opened it. "Special delivery to this residence," he said, handing Jamilan a package. "Thank you," Jamilan said, and the delivery man left. Jamilan went to the counter, and opened the box, pulling out the contents: an envelope containing gas money, pamphlets and coupons for Rockport and Padre Island, hotel reservations, and a note. "Meet me outside the aquarium this Friday at 5 PM." Putting the contents back into the box, Jamilan waited on the others, and informed them of what SPECTER wanted them to do. Well...it was all vague, so he didn't know exactly what they would be doing. Hopefully, they'd find this out on Friday. *** Jamilan stood with a few others outside the aquarium. He was in human-morph, and he had a duffel bag containing the stuff they'd gotten from SPECTER. Leroy, Allie, Jeremy, Nate, and Savannah were to meet out here; those were the ones who were available. Some were already there; he hoped the others would arrive before five. He didn't expect the SPECTER agent to be late. Well...he assumed they'd be meeting with a SPECTER agent. He hoped there would be less vagueness here. The Andalite tapped his feet, and looked up at the aquarium's huge sign. This was a pretty fascinating place; he wouldn't mind working here himself.

Allie paced a short portion of the front of the aquarium building as they waited. Earlier that week they'd gotten the package from SPECTER and the directions to be here at 5 pm. The last times they'd gotten something like that from SPECTER it had been a mission. This was, in Allie's mind, going to be another of those. The only question was: What did the aquarium have to do with any of this?
Then again, the answer was only logical. The aquarium had animals in it. Most likely they needed something here for the mission, an aquatic morph. Not many of them had one of those. Rox had gotten a shark morph, but Rox wasn't here anymore. Allie wasn't sure about anyone else, but she knew she didn't have a morph that could swim.
Allie was horrible at waiting and it was only made more obvious as she continued to pace while they waited for the rest of the group and the SPECTER agent to arrive. Once that happened things would hopefully be more clear about what they were doing, but Allie had come to not expect much less than extreme vagueness from the government agency that had hired them. She only HOPED they'd know more then, but she wasn't going to hold her breath.

"Ah, looks like my friends are here. I think I'm going to take off a couple minutes early. See you later Benny." Leroy waved goodbye to his coworker and exited his ticket booth. After a quick stop to punch out for the day, Leroy headed over to the group of Mariposa animorphs.
Apparently they were supposed to meet a SPECTER agent here, but Leroy had no idea what for. Most likely a mission. He just hoped they had more information to go on than they did for the trip to Africa. At least it seemed like they wouldn't have to stow away on a plane this time.
"Hope I'm not too late," Leroy said as he reached the group. But it was pretty obvious that he wasn't.

Jeremy felt like he was on Iron Chef waiting for the ingredient of the day to be revealed. He felt he needed to be planning his moves out, but he couldn't, not without knowing what was going on. He was getting more and more frustrated by the day. SPECTER had promised that joining their little club would lead him to getting revenge for his family's deaths. But it was taking to long. Where were the clues? He needed to find the terrorist group that had planted the bomb. He needed to hunt them down.
He glanced at his watch. 5:05. "They're late," he remarked. He'd even made sure to pick up a new morph so he would have more things to do during this mission. There was a rat's nest near the bird place where he worked. He'd been a little worried about reaching his hand into a nest of rats, but he'd come out unscathed and with a new morph.

Nate strolled up in a casual-like fashion, glancing around as he did so, inspecting the building. "Sooo this is the place, eh?" he commented. He'd never been at the aquarium yet. It was pretty sweet.
He scanned the area for any sign of a SPECTER agent, unsure of exactly who they were looking for this time. Maybe it was an agent they'd already met, maybe it was someone knew. SPECTER was never all that helpful when giving out information pertaining to their missions. "Where is tall, dark, and handsome?" he wondered, and then glanced at them all. "...we are meeting Bond, right?"

Savannah was tense. Way too tense. She had already been told to change to decaf twice. As much as she liked animals, the idea of acquiring and morphing into them made her uneasy. Especially the acquiring part.
She picked up pace when she spotted Leroy, Allie, Jeremy and a blond guy which she assumed was Jamilan's human morph. She reached them just a few seconds after Nate to hear him ask if they were meeting Bond. Grinning, "Yup. I'm betting he's trying saving the world at the moment, which would explain why he's late," she said after checking her watch and realising she was also late. "Hi, by the way." she added.

Jamilan hated this bipedal body, but were he to return to his normal form, there would be chaos. Speaking of which, he’d need to return to it to acquire whatever they got at the aquarium. He watched Allie pacing back and forth anticipatedly, and Leroy approaching the group. Jeremy looked at his watch, and stated they were late. Jamilan, due to his inner clock, already knew this fact. He sighed through his nose, finding it typical by now; SPECTER tended to do things on their terms, regardless of how it inconvenienced the group. Nate mentioned someone named Bond. Was that the agent’s name? Finally, he could see someone approaching them, who appeared to be an agent – though he couldn’t be completely sure. He wasn’t exactly tall, or dark...and Jamilan wouldn’t be able to tell whether he were handsome or not, because he was not of that orientation (no telling whether Nate was or not). He had blond hair, and wore a gray shirt, and a black vest and pants, along with a necktie. “Are you this Bond the others were talking about?” Jamilan asked as he got closer. Agent Morris shook his head, sighing. That must be the Andalite, he deduced. “Why do you think my name is Bond? My name is Morris. Follow me.” He turned, and headed to the dumpsters, where there was no-one to overhear them. It stunk here, but that was, obviously why he’d picked it. Morris didn’t care whether things stunk or not; he was used to it. “Alright, I’ll get to the point,” he said, pulling out a blackberry. On here, there was a map. He showed it to them; it revealed the part of the ocean he was about to speak about. “Strange phenomena have been occurring around this region of the Gulf. I want you to investigate it.” He placed the blackberry into Nate’s hands. “If you don’t have one, I suggest getting a sea morph,” he said. “Questions?” And then he asked something that few SPECTER agents had asked any of them: “Is there anything you might need, other than what we provided?” Morris grinned. That should surprise them. Map

Jeremy wasn't exactly in the mood to be civil with the agent. "Yes, there's something I need. How about something more specific than 'strange phenomena?' I'd kinda like to know what we're supposed to be investigating, if it isn't against your orders or anything." He crossed his arms. No way were these SPECTERs getting him into something else without telling him what it was.
He glanced around without moving his head to try to see if the others would support him. He was new, in that he'd never received a mission directly from an agent before, but he wasn't inexperienced. He realized, though, that just because he was ticked at them didn't mean that everyone was. It was perfectly reasonable that, under the right circumstances, an Animorph might be so grateful, for example, for being able to fly, that they would kiss the agents' feet when they got missions.

Nate blinked in surprise as the SPECTER agent put the blackberry in his hands. An expensive gadget. In his hands. Was this a smart plan on the agent's part? He wasn't entirely sure. But it made him feel important! Still though...
He stuck up an arm as if he were in school. "Oh oh I have a question Mister Bond! ... ... ... ...why would you give a blackberry to me of all people?" Blackberries could sell for a pretty penny, he pondered to himself.

Leroy was so taken aback by the agent's questions that he wasn't sure how to react. The agent asked if they had any questions and if he could get them anything they might need? How come the mission to Africa hadn't been so... nice? Did that mean there was a catch?
Leroy nodded in agreement when Jeremy asked his question, then smirked when Nate asked his. Two questions on opposite ends of the spectrum. However, there was only one thing that Leroy wanted to ask.
"Can we get a ride there that doesn't involve sneaking some of our group members along without tickets?" If it hadn't already happened, he never would have thought to ask.

Jamilan was, indeed, surprised when the Agent asked what they wanted. Jeremy and Leroy, however, touched upon most of what he would have asked, and Nate’s reactions just served to confuse the Andalite more; he, however, had another query. Turning his human eyes upon the blond-haired agent, he said, “I am capable of driving, piloting, and boating. Can you provide me with the proper identification to do these things without getting into trouble with the human authorities?” The idea of being able to transport his friends was intriguing, and though he wasn’t very capable of determining human expression, he tried his hardest to interpret Morris’, due to his excitement, when the agent answered their questions. Morris chuckled lightly to himself. Just as he’d expected. He responded first to Jeremy’s question. “Ships are disappearing in that region, and there seems to be a gathering of sea life. Aside from that, you know as much as we do.” Nate seemed to be surprised he’d given him a blackberry – a very expensive item indeed, though luckily, they were provided plenty of funding. “You will need it,” he said simply. “This happens to be a certain type of blackberry. The line on it is secure; I will be able to get into contact with you from it.” And then he added, as though reading Nate’s mind, “I’d advise against selling it. Things like that tend to...explode when in the wrong hands.” He smiled; it was hard to tell whether it was a joke or not. He turned now to Leroy and Jamilan. “I will provide you with a van,” he said to Leroy. “And the licenses that you need,” he told Jamilan. “You will find them at your apartment. Anyway, if that is all, I will be going.” In the blink of an eye, he had disappeared into the shadows.

Jeremy ground his teeth in frustration. No, this wasn't a mission involving the scum that killed his family. And once again, their agent had disappeared without giving him any clues as to who those scum were. Hadn't they said that they knew who the culprits were? Then why weren't they letting him get his revenge?
On the other hand, Jeremy couldn't deny that his interest was piqued. Ships disappearing? Was this some kind of Bermuda Triangle mystery? And a gathering of sea life? What did that mean? Random wildlife didn't tend to gather unless it was actually people in morph. And that's probably where we come in, he thought. He glanced at Leroy. What now? he thought.

"I'll need it. Cool." Nate felt kinda special that he was the one entrusted with the Blackberry. He had begun expecting the map when the agent decided to add the comment about it exploding in the wrong hands. He frowned quite quickly. "...my hands had better not be the wrong ones. I like my hands."
So, disappearing ships and a whole lot of wildlife. Interesting. He glanced around at the aquarium, realizing he didn't have anything good for the water yet. Good thinking on the agent's part, getting them to gather here. "So... what are we thinking about morphing?"

So they were getting a van? That was cool. And Jamilan was getting a drivers license? That was cool and really handy. Sure, the van was also handy, but not unobtainable on their own. Okay, so maybe they could have gotten a fake drivers license on their own too, but that seemed harder to Leroy for some reason. Whatever. It didn't really matter.
"So... what are we thinking about morphing?" he heard Jeremy ask. Leroy was waiting to hear peoples' suggestions when it struck him. They would need a water morph and he was the guy with the job at an aquarium. This was his department.
"Oh, um... good question. Something we can touch I suppose. That leaves out most of the fish options. Seals. Dolphins. Penguins. Killer whales. Rays." Leroy shrugged. He wasn't sure what the others had in mind.

"If there's trouble in the water, I want something that can fight," remarked Jeremy. "I like the killer whale idea." He glanced around. "Of course, going up and touching one is a bit scary. And a little hard. But I think acquiring just about anything would be conspicuous."
Truth be told, Jeremy hadn't been in the aquarium before, so he was just assuming. It was perfectly possible that this aquarium had many hidden spots where one could acquire a sea creature. But why should it be easy, especially since SPECTER was involved? That it would be hard was a safe assumption.
